ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Minesh Naran
MD CAFCI
Dr. Naran is a family doctor focusing in Muscular Pain Relief using Trigger Point Therapy and Laser Acupuncture. He received his first qualification as a medical doctor in South Africa in 1987. He moved to North Vancouver in 1993 and practiced as a family doctor for 25 years. Since then he has transitioned his practice into treating muscular pain.
Throughout his journey, as a medical practitioner, he has encountered many patients with injuries and sprains and has always wanted to find an alternate and more natural form of pain relief for his patients.
He obtained his Acupuncture qualification at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995.
In 2008, he obtained his certification in Trigger Point Therapy at the George Washington University, home of Janet Travell. He is a registrant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada since 1990 and a member of the Canadian Foundation of Acupuncture.
Dr. Naran has realized the importance of a rehabilitation program in conjunction with his pain treatments. That has led to the creation of a kinesiology-based fitness program; Rejuv Medical Fitness. www.rejuvfitness.ca
